Michael Balazo

Michael Balazo has been writing and performing standup, sketch and musical comedy for the past ten years. During that time, he has won a Canadian Comedy Award with his musical comedy trio The Gentlemen Callers and was nominated as a standup for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award for young comedians. Michael has performed comedy across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. As a writer, he has written for the Comedy Network, CBC Radio, Showcase and, most recently, for BBC Radio 4. Michael is currently based in London, England, a city immortalized in the works of a certain Charlie Dickens.
