David Dineen-Porter

David Dineen-Porter has been performing stand-up comedy and sketch in Toronto since 1997. A former director of UofT’s comedy review, The Bob, he is co-founder of the sketch troupes Uncle Sevario, Someone and the Somethings, and The Iliads, an alumnus of the Second City training school, and mastermind of some of the city’s best sketch shows, including Yay! Stepdads!, Hexiquest, and The Fall and Rise of F.F. Muffingrim! Currently a member of Boyfriends (with James Hartnett and Nathan Fielder) and Aloe and Gin (with Levi Macdougall), David also tours sketch festivals in the guise of L’Brondelle, from his current project L’Brondelle’s Universe. Recipient of the $10,000 Robinhood fund for his film “To Kill Stephen Spielberg”. David has appeared on the IFC’s Gemini-Award-winning series Cock’d Gunns, and Much Music’s Much Screwed Over. He is also the golden voice behind PDF Format, on Blocks Recordings.
